Oahu, Hawaii’s vibrant gem, has it all – from breathtaking beaches to rich cultural experiences. Day 1: Exploring Local Delights and Beach Bliss
- Start your day with a visit to Island Vintage Coffee, where you can get our morning favorites – a Hawaiian honey latte and a passionfruit Acai bowl. But if you get here after 7:30am, expect there to be a pretty long wait.
- Spend the afternoon soaking up the sun at Lanikai Beach or Kailua Beach, two of Oahu’s most picturesque stretches of sand. Parking can be annoying but it’s well worth it!
- Indulge in a delicious meal at Maui Mike’s, known for its authentic Hawaiian chicken.
- End the day in the famous shave ice at Island Shave Ice or treat yourself to the unique flavors at Ice Monster.

Day 2: Iconic Landmarks and Cultural Exploration
- Get the day started with the panoramic Makapu’u Lighthouse hike. It’s a paved path, but it’s uphill so make sure you wear comfy shoes.
- Enjoy lunch at Rainbow Drive Inn, a local favorite known for its mouthwatering plate lunches. Portions here are definitely shareable so try more than one!
- Explore the Polynesian Cultural Center and immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the Pacific islands.
- Wrap up the day with a relaxing dinner at Dukes Waikiki, where you can savor delicious Hawaiian cuisine while enjoying live music and stunning ocean views. They take walk ins, but there’s going to be a wait so get there early to put your name in and shop while you wait.
