Everything We Wore in Japan this Spring

(Updated in 2025)

Figuring out what to wear when you’re traveling can be stressful, and we definitely felt the pressure while we were in Japan. Everyone just dresses so well no matter where you go! Add in the fact that you have to dress comfortable enough to walk 25,000+ steps in a day while exploring Tokyo or Kyoto, and you might start to stress-sweat. Not only that, but dressing for the weather can hard especially when you’re limited to what you pack in your suitcase.

We’ve been to Japan in April and May, and the weather can be anywhere from 55 degrees Fahrenheit to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Hopefully some of the outfits we wore on our trip to Japan this past spring will help give you some inspo for your own trip!
